That first Aşşk was opened in Kuruçeşme, right on the edge of the Bosphorus, in August 1997. Today, it is now a Kuruçeşme Aşşk Kahve, which has become an Istanbul classic, is one of the favorite escape points in city life with its green garden right next to the Bosphorus.
